Getting Ready!

I'm getting ready for another wedding tomorrow. I'm coming down to my last few weddings of the year and I'm ready excited. I'm looking forward to my fall/winter upcoming weddings. It's always nice to see all the winter decorations and how couples get so creative.
And then we have our portrait family sessions. Those are always fun.

Wedding Timeline

To all brides out there-
Here is a little advice to help your photographer or anyone helping put together your wedding. Write a TIME LINE! I always ask my brides to give me a estimate of when things are going to start, hair/makeup appts, what time do they need to be out of the hall, who's taking care of what, etc..

The last thing I hate doing is asking you questions while your trying to get ready. Everything goes together great if I have an idea. Now of course no wedding as ever really been on time and that's okay. It's just a estimate.

I find when bride's give everyone a time line then things move smoother. Everyone is where they need to be and at the right time and no questions.

Washington 2009 Weddings!

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to give an update on our business status. We were moving full time to California in January but have decided to stay a few extra months in Seattle. Our moving date is still unknown at the time. So if you have called before or thinking about calling, please Do! We would love to hear from you. We we only be reserving weddings on selected dates. So call and check to see if your day is open.

As for California weddings, we are still traveling back to California monthly to photograph weddings. So please feel free to call as well. All CA 2009 weddings receive a 5% discount on all packages. You must reserve by Oct. 13, 2008.

September's Flowers Aster Botanical name : Callistephus Chinensis Meaning :Daintiness / Elegance

Asters are the birth flower for September and the herb goddess Venus.

Ancient people believed that the odor of the leaves of the aster when burnt, drove away serpents.

Asters were laid on the graves of French soldiers to symbolize the wish the things had turned out differently.

One myth tells that the asters were created from stardust when Virgo looked down from the Heavens and wept.

Asters colors means afterthought or a wish that things were different - except in china where The color signifies fidelity.
